Resident Alien is the debut album of the English rock band Spacehog, released in 1995. The album proved quite successful and was certified gold in 1996
Resident Alien was probably Spacehog’s most successful album abroad, its two singles (”In the Meantime” and “Cruel to be Kind”) managing to hit high on the U.S. charts. “In the Meantime” was particularly successful, managing to climb to the top of the U.S. Mainstream Rock charts and to 32nd on the U.S. Top 100 (none of Spacehog’s other songs have similarly placed on the list since then).
